About
Matersum means “I am mother” in Latin. It’s a moniker I adopted after the birth of my first baby in 2006. But I don’t think one needs to have children in order to be a mother. I think all women can embody the sense of mothering: in the ability to love ourselves, in supporting our friends, in caring for pets, in caring for our Lady of the Blessed Earth.
And so Matersum is really all about being a woman and all that it entails. I hope to encourage women to follow their dreams, to empower women into trusting themselves, to teach women to assert themselves.
